In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court of India today created the "Third Gender" status for Hijras or transgenders, reports Times of India. A Dhaka court today sent Mahmuda Akter, chairperson of Tazreen Fashions Ltd, to jail rejecting her bail petition in a homicide case.
