A Dhaka court today issued an arrest warrant against BNP leader Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annee and three other activists after cancelling their bail in three vandalism cases. Metropolitan Magistrate Tareq Mainul Islam Bhuiyan passed the order as they failed to appear before the court today. The three BNP activists are Nur Mohammad, Selim Uddin and Taleb Mahmud. A Dhaka court yesterday accepted the charges recently brought against 41 BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Moudud Ahmed in connection with assaulting police and torching vehicles in the capital last year. A Dhaka court today extended bail to four BNP leaders including its acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir till June 17 in two murder cases filed with Ramna Police Stations.
