In the amazing world of Numu and Jojo
When his mother was killed, Jojo was too young to take care of himself. Numu brought Jojo to foster, but soon, she fell in love with her four-legged best friend and decided to adopt him. Thus, the amazing journey of Numu and Jojo began.
Numu Khan is an animal activist. She has been working with different animal welfare groups for a long time now. Jojo, on the other hand, is a Sorail Hound. Numu admits that, it was rather Jojo who rescued her from depression and anxiety problems. Being a local breed, Jojo 's food habit is rather simple. According to Numu, it is the animal breeders who offer different foreign breed animals to attract customers. "We have so many of these poor animals around us; they are just as loveable, in fact, taking care of them is also pocket friendly for animal lovers," says Numu.
Along with Jojo, Numu pets a number of cats. Numu trained Jojo to do certain tricks through YouTube videos. Jojo is also a natural learner; he learned to live with other animals and can understand emotions. To Numu's surprise, Jojo can sense when she is upset and would try to comfort her. Numu says, "Our local dogs are very intelligent and can be trained easily. They adjust well with the weather too. With some basic vaccination, local dogs are excellent pets. For anyone who wants to pet an animal should learn about the need and nature of the animal."
Numu says that, she feels the urge to become the voice of these animals. She posts memes, pictures and videos of Jojo and of her other pets in different platforms to encourage people to foster and pet local animals.
