U-16 women wrap up Korea tour with victory

Bangladesh Under-16 women's football team wrapped up their tour of South Korea with a 3-0 win over Oju Middlle School Women's FC of Korea today.

Sanjida Akter, Nargis Khatun and Sirat Jahan Swapna scored a goal apiece for the Bangladesh team, which is taking their 10-day tour of South Korea as the penultimate stage of preparation for September's AFC U-16 Women's Championship.

The Bangladesh team had previously lost 3-0 against South Korea U-16 women's team, had beaten Yulmyun Middle School 9-0 and were held to a 2-2 draw by Hwacheon Information Industry High School in their previous three matches.

The Bangladesh girls are scheduled to play a few matches in Vietnam towards the end of this month on way to Thailand, where they will take part in the AFC U-16 Championship finals from September 10 to 23.
