Kohli being watched
BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya on Friday said that the board was keeping an eye on the conduct of Virat Kohli.
India's Test skipper has garnered a reputation for frequently losing his cool on the field. Ever since making his debut for India, the right-hander has been involved in heated exchanges with opposition players.
The Indian cricket board had earlier reprimanded Kohli for his outburst on a journalist during team's practice session in Perth.
The controversy surrounding Kohli's behaviour refused to subside despite the India team management's efforts to play it down with complaints being made to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Indian board about the episode.
"The player in question has been told to maintain the dignity of the Indian team at all times, and avoid any such behaviour in the future," the BCCI said in a release.
