Aftab's way of keeping in cricket
Former national batsman Aftab Ahmed attended a Level 1 coaching course with the Bangladesh Cricket Board which ended yesterday. It was a step which the former national player described as a huge leap towards his new ambition.
Having attended the five-day programme, Aftab's coaching activities will be monitored for a year before he is deemed to have completed the level.
"It's a new ambition. I began my career with cricket and I really want to continue with it. I can't get out of this game. This is just the start; hopefully I can continue and make it big from here.
"The one thing that I really want to do is help create more players from Chittagong. There was a time when many players arrived from the port city. But that's not the case now. I want to help change that," said Aftab.
