Ferdous & Mim ignored in Yeti Obhijaan!
Yeti Obhijaan, an adventure-thriller film by the Indian director Srijit Mukherji, was released on 22nd September this year, and had met with decent success in its first week. However, while originally intended to be a joint venture between Bollywood and Dhaliwood, the film was promoted as solely an Indian film, with little to no credit given to the Bangladeshi actors who performed in the film: Bidya Sinha Saha Mim and Ferdous Ahmed. Trailers and posters of Yeti Obhijaan have not featured either Mim or Ferdous, which has been seen as an outrage considering the initial hype surrounding them. This has left many Bangladeshi fans to wonder what happened behind the scenes to cause such unfairness. Reports claim that Jaaz Multimedia, the co-producing company, had removed their investment, though that does not justify the ignorance given to the Bangladeshi talents in the film.
