Aesthetic
"Class, we are going to have a most aesthetic model among us today, and I want you all to focus on her. She will sit here and all of you shall befriend her before we proceed further."
I sighed and rubbed my eyes as it was getting hard to focus. For the past four nights, sleep had been hard to come by. I guess all artists lead a life like this.
I adjusted my glasses to get a clear view of the model that was about to step in. The doors opened, and as my jaw dropped to the floor, I found it hard to breathe.
As soon as her feet touched the cold hard ground, everyone fell quiet. She walked off to her chair with elegance and pride without making any sound. Every part of her body moved in an artistic manner. She was surprisingly conscious of the way each of her body parts moved. She stopped midway to spare a look at everyone present in the room and started taking in the whole room in one long breath.
Her gaze was so intensely powerful that it could make her opponent bow down to her feet. But, unlike others, when her eyes met mine I denied to look away. And then, it glowed. Her eyes glowed and a flame was seen burning in those marble eyes.
Breaking off the eye contact, she made her way to the chair and gracefully sat down like a queen.
The professor called out my name and asked me to step forward so I could befriend her. He warned me about the consequences if I did not behave the way that she asked for. I started sweating as a wave of nervousness hit me; I was going to stand in front of the most magnificent specimen of her species. Even though we belonged to the same gender, I felt uncomfortable in her presence. She really was the most astounding creature to live and breathe on this planet.
I stepped forward and bowed. Closing my eyes, I extended my hand. She took it after observing me for a second and I felt the soft touch of her paws over my fingers. I greeted with a smile to which she replied in a simple manner, indicating that she accepted me as a companion of hers.
"Meow," she said.
And that was all that left her mouth.
