APP REVIEW

Your Handheld Sports Central

If you're an avid follower of a sport team, but school and/or work is starting to catch up with you, and you're sad because there was a match tonight that you probably could have seen but didn't even know was taking place, 365Scores is the app you are looking for.

365Scores is basically what you'd expect from its name, a guide to almost every relevant sporting event taking place on the planet at any given time. Upon signing up, you get to pick your preferences as to what team you support and what leagues or competitions you want to follow. The app then personalises your feed to provide you news and alerts to let you know when your favourite team is playing and how the other teams in their league might be doing. It provides notifications (which you can always turn off) starting an hour before a game starts, and supplies team news, rumours, links to articles from various sources to keep you updated. There's even a live feed for ongoing games where you get to follow what's happening minute by minute, and also read tweets about the game that are indexed in a different window. Highlight links are provided from third party websites as well.

365Scores is available on the Google Play Store as well as on the App Store. One possible downside is that it takes up a lot of your phone's memory, but if you have a powerful device and a need to stay informed, you want this.
