Ever wanted to have yourself painted by the likes of Pablo Picasso or give your picture an effect from Breaking Bad? Well, all you need to do is download the filtering app that has taken the social media by storm – Prisma.
What sets it apart from other similar apps like Instagram is its ability to reproduce images from scratch rather than just applying layers to it. Consisting of more than 30 filters, they include the impressions of iconic art like The Scream and Van Gogh paintings, as proclaimed by the co-founder Alexey Moiseenkov.
The app manipulates the images through an amalgamation of neural networks and artificial intelligence for the generation and the whole metabolism takes around a few seconds which otherwise would have taken a few hours sans Prisma.
The user interface is fairly unfussy that gets straight to the point without irrelevant jumbles of options. It instills the users with a sense of creativity as they can experiment and select from a range of filters and then swipe left or right to decrease or increase the intensity respectively after which one can share the picture directly into social media.
Overall, the novel approach along with the ripples of buzz it is creating, it is a must-have app to carry around in your phone.
