Shipping minister's nieces among Pinak-6 victims

Body of Nusrat Jahan Hira, a student of Shikder Medical College, Dhaka was recovered yesterday, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo quoting the minister.  

Fatema Tuj Johora Swarna, a student of capital’s Rifles Public College and Jannatun Nayeem Lucky were still missing till this evening.

The three ill-fated sisters were on their way back to Dhaka from their village home in Shibchar of Madaripur.

A few hours before the tragic launch capsize, the trio took a selfie while they were going to the launch terminal by a rickshaw-van and posted it to the social network.
 
Doubledecker launch Pinak-6 sank in Padma river in Lauhajang upazila of Munshiganj with around 200 people on its way to Mawa Ghat from Kawrakandi terminal yesterday.

Soon after the incident, locals rescued two female passengers from the river but they died later.

A day into the incident, rescuers are yet to locate the sunken vessel.
