Sachin to play himself in biopic
After wrapping up a stupendous innings on the cricket pitch, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is ready to make a splash on the silver screen. Featuring the cricket legend himself, the yet-to-be-titled movie will release in 2,000 theatres across the world in 2015, and will capture his cricket and personal life in great detail. Apart from acting in real-time, Tendulkar will also chip in with his inputs for the film.
Aside from following the phenomenal rise of Tendulkar, the film will also reveal a few aspects of his life which have never been heard of or seen before.
Sachin's life as a young boy living in the suburbs of Mumbai, his early days of school and cricket, his life outside the game and marriage to Anjali will all be a part of the movie.
The movie, to be directed by London-based writer-filmmaker James Erskine, is presently being shot. Many personalities across the world are also contributing to it.
