Resolutions down the drain?
They are easy to make and launch, but hard to sustain. It has been about a month since the beginning of the New Year. Are you still abiding by your resolutions?
Most probably you are not! One survey claims that only around 8 percent of Americans make their new year's resolutions successful. We reckon that we too are not lagging far behind!
What was your resolution this year? To lose weight? To eat healthier? To quit smoking? If you are keeping up your promise, then bravo! But it is likely that you had cut loose, failed and put out the resolutions in a drawer, which is to be opened again at the end of the year.
Some of the most common reasons behind this are that your resolutions have not been specific enough and that you started too many at a time. It is good you wanted to lose weight, but did you define how much and in what time? Losing weight is by itself a challenge; having several other resolutions along with that may put a lot of pressure, with the end result of not been able to fulfil any.
It's not too late! Revisit the resolutions you had planned and get right back on track.
