Rain spoils 2nd day
Rain ruined Bangladesh Under-19s' batting progress on the second day of the first three-dayer against their Sri Lankan counterparts at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium yesterday.
The visitors reached 78 for 2 in 28 overs in reply to the hosts' 216 before rain stopped play.
Shadman Islam scored 56 runs off 69 balls, smashing eleven boundaries.
Earlier left-arm spinner Mohammad Nihaduzzaman took the last wicket of Sri Lankan side to finish with figures of five for 55 runs.
