Khaleda’s statement on judiciary untrue: Law minister
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s statement on the judiciary is not true, Law Minister Anisul Huq said today.
“We all should be respectable to the judiciary and courts of Bangladesh and everybody should express it," he said while talking to reporters after attending to a seminar at a hotel in Gulshan in Dhaka.

“I am sorry, what she (Khaleda) said is completely untrue, I have said earlier and I am still now saying that the trial proceedings (case against Khaleda Zia) have been held before the court on the basis of documents and evidence,” Law Minister said.
The judge concerned of the court will deliver verdict considering the documents and evident, he said.
About the resignation of Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah from the post of the Supreme Court’s judge, the law minister said it is his personal decision a judge can resign from his post.
