Zia Charitable graft: Next hearing Jan 26
A Dhaka court today fixed January 26 for holding next hearings on two corruption cases against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The BNP chief, this morning, appeared before the makeshift court at Bakshibazar in connection with Zia Charitable Trust and Zia orphanage graft cases.
Judge Abu Ahmed Jomadar of Special Judge Court-3 fixed the date for hearing of a case filed in connection with Zia Charitable Trust corruption after Khaleda filed a time petition before it seeking adjournment.

Meanwhile, a prosecution witness gave his statement before the court in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
The court fixed Jan 26 for holding further hearing in the case.

Earlier in the morning, Khaleda reached the special makeshift court in Bakhshibazar around 10:45am.
