BNP’s Hannan to be flown to Singapore for treatment
Ailing BNP standing committee member ASM Hannan Shah will be taken to Singapore tonight for better treatment, a party spokesperson said.
He will be flown on an air ambulance from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around midnight, his son Rezaul Hannan told The Daily Star.
Hannan Shah has been suffering from cardiac problems. He will be taken to Singapore Heart Foundation, Rezaul said.
Hannan Shah was taken to the Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka after he complained of acute chest pain. Later, he was put on life support at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
