Oust-govt movement soon: Khaleda
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today said that they would launch a movement soon to oust the government as it did not pay heed to their demand for holding an election under a non-party administration.
“The backs of the people have been pushed against the wall. The government did not pay heed to our peaceful call. So, we have no more time to sit idle,” she said while addressing a meeting in Dhaka.
Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal, a platform of pro-BNP freedom fighters, organised the programme at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in the capital this afternoon.
“The people want movement. They want to establish a people’s government by casting their votes. So, we will launch the movement taking the people with us very soon,” she added.
“We will take to the streets along with the people to face the firearms,” she said adding the government will be crushed like a house of cards.
“Our victory is certain, Inshallah.”
