NIA, Rab exchange names of ‘criminals’
The investigators of India’s National Investigation Agency today handed over to its Bangladesh counterpart a list of 11 suspected militants believed to be behind the Burdwan blast.
The persons arrested in connection with the blast gave the names, a Rab official said quoting the NIA officials.
The NIA investigators have requested the elite force to take action if any of the suspects are found hiding in Bangladesh.
On the other hand, the Rab men handed over to NIA team a list of 51 persons including 40 top criminals and 11 militants, Commander Mufti Mahmud Khan, director legal and media wing of Rab, told The Daily Star.
He said all the 51 people are believed to be hiding in India.
