Order reaches jail, ministry
The Supreme Court order dismissing Abldul Quader Mollah's prayer to review his death sentence has reached offices concerned including Dhaka Central Jail, home ministry, International Crimes Tribunal.
Law Secretary ASSM Zahirul Haque confirmed this to The Daily Star around 3:45pm.
The five-member bench of the Supreme Court Appellate Division today rejected Mollah's appeal, clearing way for his execution for crimes against humanity committed during Bangladesh's 1971 Liberation War.
