Children's Jewellery Making Workshop by AADI
ADI by Amman Rashid recently concluded their 3rd Children's Jewellery Making Workshop at the Nordic Club in Gulshan -2. Ten children from various countries participated in the workshop where they were taught how to make paper beads from old magazine papers, how to reuse old bottle caps in making jewellery pieces, how to make beaded necklaces as well as making ornaments out of old coins. Students also learnt how to make jewellery out of scrap leather and felt. Tools, beads, shells, coins, bottle-caps, elastic wire, hooks, cords and other materials were provided at the workshop. An exhibition of the items created at the workshop was held at the Nordic Club. Classes are for one month, every Friday from 3:00 to 4:30pm at the Nordic Club. Fee for the entire workshop is Taka 5,000 per child inclusive of all materials.
