BSF picks up youth
Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi young man from Narayanpur frontier in Brahmanpara upazila on Saturday morning.
Milon (full name not available), 26, was a son of Rausal Ali of Chittagong.
The Indian troops picked up the young man, Milon, from Narayanpur border around 7:15am as he unknowingly crossed the Bangladesh territory while visiting a relative in the district, said Nayeb Subedar Mohiuddin, head of Shashidal border post of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
Meanwhile, BGB sent a letter to BSF protesting the incident.
The letter also demanded a flag meeting be held in this regard.
The BSF did not respond till filing of this report around noon.
