Mushfiqur new vice-captain
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Mushfiqur Rahim as vice-captain for the national team.
The 21-year-old will be Shakib Al Hasan's deputy until the return of regular captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza from injury.
Shakib, vice captain for the tour of West Indies and Zimbabwe, took over as captain after Mashrafe was ruled out for the remainder of the West Indies tour due to a knee injury sustained during the first Test at St Vincent.
Shakib led the team to their first-ever away series victory in the Caribbean and were looking forward to clinching the three-match one-day series.
Bangladesh will play their third one-day match against the makeshift West Indies on July 31 at Warner Park, St Kitts and they will finish their historic Caribbean trip after playing a lone T20 International on August 2 at the same venue.
After that they will fly to Zimbabwe to play five one-day internationals and a T20 match.
