PTA condemns Khaleda's remark

Progressive Teachers Association (PTA) of Rajshahi University unit yesterday condemned a remark made by leader of the Opposition in Parliament Khaleda Zia at a rally in Chapainawabganj.
Khaleda, addressing a rally on October 19, said Jamaat leaders Motiur Rahman Nizami, Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed and Delawar Hossain Sayedee were not anti-liberation forces and falsely implicated in cases, says a PTA statement.
The statement, signed by PTA Convener Prof M Shah Nowaz Ali, stated, “Her statement proves that she does not want the trial of war criminals. She is trying to establish them in the country's political and social sector like her husband Ziaur Rahman.”
