'Build graft-free Bangladesh'
Industries Minister Dilip Barua has called upon the new generation to avenge the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by building a country free from hunger, poverty, corruption, and industrially enriched under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The anti-liberation and anti-development forces had killed Bangabandhu with his entire family as he was heading towards building a self-dependent and enriched Bangladesh,” he said.
Barua made the remarks while addressing a commemorative meeting in the city with Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) president KH Masud Siddiqui in the chair.
BCIC Employees League arranged the discussion in observance of the National Mourning Day.
Dilip Barua said the dream of having an independent state was transformed into reality under the dedicated and brave leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“Though the trial of Bangabandhu killers has been executed, the conspiracy of anti-liberation forces and their collaborators is still on,” he said.
He said it was only Bangabandhu whose call had inspired unarmed Bengalis to join the liberation war.
Industries Secretary Dewan Zakir Hossain, Jatiya Sramik League President Abdul Matin Master, General Secretary Roy Ramesh Chandra, BCIC Karmachari League president SM Mahbubur Rahman and General Secretary Shamsuddin Khan also addressed the meeting.
