Workshop on cleaners' safety

Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) organised a workshop on cleaners' safety and sanitation at Mohanagar Natto Monch in the city on Monday, says a press release.
Different sessions of the workshop explained the importance of using safety gears, first aid kit, and to give clear guidance on how these should be appropriately used.
Chief Waste Management Officer of DCC Captain Bipan Kumar Saha in his speech encouraged the cleaners by saying "you are all part of us and it is our duty to fulfill your ultimate right of safety and security."
He also requested them to follow the sanitation system and maintain proper healthcare so that they can all work and live well.
Along with a series of cleaner's workshops, DCC together with JICA Expert Team is renovating and constructing ward solid waste management offices in order to strengthen the their functions to better serve the citizens.
