Diseases out break: occurred on mid June and continuing.....

Prior to rainy season fly infestation rate was very high but the study for the fly population has not done yet.

Farmers complain came about the fly bite for various locations and it was observed that there were severe fly infestation in field. Animal could not eat grass due to the disturbance of flies.

We found in clinical examination that small biting over the skin of whole body except the area of gluteus and other’s site where animal sweeps its tail to remove the fly. These flies are mostly blood suckers and farmers experienced that it’s very painful for the animals and swelled the biting area.

Initially the lesion is like paint brush appearance whole over the body particularly on the neck region and lower leg.

The body temperature of the affected animals rise from 103F to 105F. After few days the skin lesion becomes hard and separate from cutaneous showing pinpoint hemorrhage.
