Shibir's death threat to two RU BCL men

Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) cadres threatened two Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men with death on Rajshahi University (RU) campus yesterday.

Following the incident, BCL university unit Science and Technology Secretary Khokon and activist Asad lodged a general diary (GD) with Motihar Police Station.

In the GD, they stated that a group of Shibir cadres, led by Bangabandhu Hall unit Shibir President Shah Newaz Sachcho, intercepted them while they were going to the hall at around 3:00pm.

They further said the Shibir men blamed them for the killing of their leader Sharifuzzaman Nomani during BCL-Shibir clash on the campus on March 13 this year and threatened to kill them.

Contracted, Shibir Banga-bandhu Hall unit President Shah Newaz Sachcho denied the allegation.
