Weather | Dhaka General Secretary of Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League at Dhaka University Muhammad Mohiuddin has protested a portion of the report headlined "DU Mohsin Hall Repairs: Toll-seeking BCL leader halts work" published in The Daily Star on Monday.
In a statement, Mohiuddin claimed that the report was baseless, false and fabricated. He alleged that the report was published to harass him politically and ruin his "bright political future".

The Daily Star correspondent visited the spot twice on the day and found that the repair work remained suspended. He talked to workers, owner of the construction firm and some residents of the hall, all of whom said Mohiuddin's followers stopped the work.
The construction firm owner and his cousin alleged that Mohiuddin demanded Tk 5 lakh toll from them. The hall provost also admitted that the incident of extortion was behind suspension of the repair work.
Besides, the report clearly quoted Mohiuddin who refuted the allegation and said repair work was going on. But, the work resumed the next day.

Awami Leage is the bigest political party in Banglsdesh. It wined the last Parliament election with vast majority. The whole Nation is looking forward for a break through in political, economic, social, all spares of their life.
But few evils in the name of the Govt. ruling party doing wastes. It is Chhatra leage, Mohsin Hall, Chhatra leage, DU & the Awami leage should come forward to curb these sort of evidence with ironic hand. Otherwise, there might reasons for the common people to believe that the Govt. is behind the evils & are not keen in national interest. They may start withdrawing their support to the Govt.
