Police warn against monopoly on animal hides

Police warned stern action against anyone who indulges in flexing force and terrorism to control sale and purchase of the hides of sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, being celebrated in the country Saturday.

“The selling and buying of hides of sacrificial animals should be carried out in smooth manner and legal way,” said Dhaka Metropolitan Police in a release Thursday.

The metro police warned that legal action would be taken against those who will be found involved in any terrorist act on the occasion of the holy fiesta.

People have been requested to contact police control room or DMP over the following phone numbers if they need police aid or any terrorist activity comes to their notice.
