Two students busy with their last-minute revision before heading into the exam hall at Motijheel Government Girls' High School in the capital. Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations began yesterday across the country with the participation of 24,68,820 eighth graders from 28,628 general schools and madrasas. Guests browsing through books at a book fair at the Gyantapash Abdur Razzaq Bidyapeeth in the capital's Dhanmondi yesterday. Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation organised the fair. Book unveiling...

Authors and guests hold copies of a book titled “Adaptation Technology in Bangladesh” at its publication ceremony in the capital's The Daily Star Centre yesterday. Ten members of Gobeshona, a platform for climate change research organisations, wrote the book.
