A worker rakes out dead leaves and household waste from a pickup truck inside Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital. The pickup truck (Dhaka “Da” 4557) belongs to the Public Works Department that owns and maintains the park. Sergeant Mustain of DMP's Traffic South Division assaults and takes away the camera of photojournalist Nasir Uddin of Daily Manab Zamin near Motsya Bhaban intersection yesterday afternoon during an altercation over riding a motorcycle without a helmet. The policeman also kept him confined to a police box there. Nasir claimed that he had requested the traffic police not to fine him as his helmet was stolen a couple of days ago.
