Rubbles block Jail Khal in Barisal city since the district administration's demolition drive on its banks 10 days ago, hampering transport of commodities by trawlers through the canal connected to the Kirton Khola river. Locals call it Pakhibari or the House of Nest. Emdadul Haque has created a sanctuary for birds by planting a lot of trees at his house by the road of Sylhet-Companigonj road in Sylhet Sadar upazila.
