Man shot dead at Khilgaon

A man was shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Khilgaon of the capital this evening.
His father also sustained bullet wounds in his right hand and right leg in the incident.
The miscreants opened fire when Md Shayem, 28, and his father Israfil, 58, got off their private car near Goran fire station around 8:30pm, police and locals said.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Shayem dead around 9:30pm, Assistant Sub-Inspector Haider Ali of DMCH police camp told The Daily Star.
Shayem was hit by a bullet in his chest, the police officer said adding his father was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
