Man killed while making bombs at Hazaribagh
A youth was killed and another injured when a bomb they were allegedly making went off at Hazaribagh in Dhaka this afternoon.
Jashim, 20, and Raju, 25, suffered splinter injuries while making crude bombs at the latter’s house around 4:30pm, said Sukenda Chandra Sarker, a sub-inspector of Hazaribagh Police Station.
The duo was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Jashim dead, Nayek Masudur Rahman of DMCH police camp told The Daily Star.
Raju was identified as organising secretary of Ward No. 22 of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, youth front of BNP, while the identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
