Spider-Man 2

Sacrifice

Genre: Fantasy / Sci-Fi / Thriller
Director: Sam Raimi
Distributor: Columbia Pictures (Sony)

Cast: Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Rosemary Harris

Peter Parker (Maguire) is having a rough time. His double life as super hero Spider-Man is having a devastating impact on his social life. Things are so bad he declares that he's quitting, and never putting on the suit again. However, his sense of duty forces him to become a hero again when the brilliant scientist Dr. Otto Octavius is deformed in an accident and becomes Dr. Octopus. With four metal tentacles sticking out of his back, he will prove to be a more than worthy opponent for Spider-Man.

Anchorman
His news is bigger than your news.

Genre: Comedy
Director: Adam McKay
Distributor: DreamWorks Pictures

Cast: Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, Kevin Corrigan, Chuck D

Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) is the top-rated anchorman in San Diego in the '70s. When feminism marches into the newsroom in the form of ambitious newswoman Veronica Corningstone (Applegate), Ron is willing to play along at first – as long as Veronica stays in her place– covering cat fashion shows, cooking, and other "female" interests. But when Veronica refuses to settle for being eye candy and steps behind the news desk, it's more than a battle between two perfectly coifed anchor-persons... it's war.
