Naur, a group of four people, staged a dance, which they dubbed as the art of Fire Spinning, in front of the Dhakaites. This display that combins dance and fire originated from New Zealand. The Maori community performs this dance during their festivals. Naur performed at the open theatre of Dhanmondi lake last week. The performers: Ishraq Dhaly, Samiya Ahmed, Ishique Salim drew a crowd that for the first time witnessed this exotic act with amazement.
