As winter enters its final weeks it is high time to celebrate the season's joys, and there are few better ways to do that than treating your taste buds to a winter favourtie -- the kebab. For that you need to look no further than Khazana Gulshan's Kabab and Paratha Festival featuring an extensive range of mouth-watering kebabs and paratas from Kolkata to Hyderabad, Malabar to Delhi and Kashmir. The festival will run from 20 to 31 January.
Among the myriad options available to kebab lovers are vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebab platters. This time the kebabs will be made not only on tandoors (clay ovens) but also on tawas and pattars(stone).
Some of the kebab stars that will rock your palate over the next week and a half at Khazana are:
A Persian-inspired dish which consists of saffron basmati rice with chicken and mutton kebabs marinated with Indian masala and tandoored. The dish is served with fried egg, grilled tomatoes and a dollop of butter on top.
Jheenga Jalpari Kabab
Jumbo prawn marinated in cheese and hung curd, flash-cooked in a tandoor and served.
Murgh Angaara Tikka
Boneless chicken blended with onion tomato masala grilled in a moderately hot tandoor.
Lamb marinated in a mixture of malt vinegar, cinnamon and cumin, finished in tandoor.
Ajwani Paneer Tikka
Cottage cheese cubes marinated in cream, ajwain, gram flour and yellow chilly batter skewered and char grilled.
Khazana's well-known and acclaimed team of chefs have put their best foot forward in bringing you this eastern delicacy, which is right up their alley. So if you want to enjoy the last few days of winter and give your taste buds a treat, make your way over to Khazana Gulshan before the end of the month.
