Bangladesh Under-19 suffered an eleventh-hour setback as vice-captain Jasim Uddin was ruled out of the Under-19 Asia Cup due to a finger injury.
The wicketkeeper-batsman sustained the injury during training on Tuesday and an X-ray confirmed an oblique fracture of the right index finger. Zakir Hasan has been named as his replacement in the 15-man squad, which flies for Dubai today.
Bangladesh will play their first group match against Malaysia on December 28 at the Abu Dhabi Oval 1.
