Khaleda's adviser Dudu on 2-day remand in arson case
A Dhaka court today placed Shamsuzzaman Dudu, an adviser to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, on a two-day remand in a case filed for torching vehicles in the capital.
The case was filed with Mirpur Police Station on December 28, last year for torching vehicles at Rokeya Sarani.
Metropolitan Magistrate Md Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order when Mirpur police produced him before the court and sought seven days’ remand for Dudu.
Arrested on January 11, Dudu was shown arrested in the case a week later.
