Khaleda reinstates expelled JCD men
BNP yesterday nullified an expulsion order on two Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leaders who had “breached party discipline” when activists protesting declaration of the student body's partial 201-member central committee locked up some party leaders at the Nayapaltan headquarters in the capital on October 14.
Former vice-president Abu Sayed and organising secretary Anisur Rahman, alongside former joint secretaries Ferdous Ahmed Munna and Tarikul Islam Titu who were among five served show cause notices on November 10, sought pardon on Saturday.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia directed the cancellation, says a press release.
