The winter in the north is far more severe than it is in the south of the country and weavers at Kismat Keshurbari village in Thakurgaon prepare to cater the needs of the people of the north. They bring in wool and make them into colourful blankets that provide warmth to many for a cheap price. However, high prices of wool have put weavers in trouble as they cannot sell a blanket for more than Tk 200-225. Photo: Quamrul Islam Rubaiyat
