Indian Coast Guard to visit Ctg port Mar 20
The Indian Coast Guard personnel will pay a four-day visit to Chittagong port from March 20 aiming to enhance friendship and bilateral co-operation between the two neighbouring coast guards.
They will conduct the visit by a ship ICGS Vajra, an offshore patrol vessel, which is capable of performing anti-smuggling operations, search and rescue missions at sea and protecting the maritime environment, said a press release of Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
During the visit they will interact with Bangladesh Coast Guard personnel and also participate in cultural and sports activities, the press release added.
They will also conduct an exercise with the Bangladesh Coast Guard.
