India and Pakistan, opponents of tomorrow's opening match of the Super 10 stage of the ICC World Twenty20, finished their warm-ups in contrasting style last night.
India rode on two half centuries from Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina to beat England by 20 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur while Pakistan were beaten by South Africa by eight wickets at Fatullah.
After an initial hiccup, Kohli and Raina added 81 runs in the fourth wicket partnership as India set up a challenging total of 178 for four. England could manage to score only 158 for six wickets in their 20 overs.
At Fatullah, Pakistan were all out for 71, which South Africa overtook in 14 overs losing only two wickets.
