Hero & Villain

With figures of three for 8 in 3.1 overs, it was Shakib Al Hasan's magic that left the Afghans bewildered at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium yesterday. The left-arm spinner removed both Najibullah Taraki and Gulbadin Naib with consecutive deliveries and then finished the innings by bowling Shapoor Zadran.

Afghanistan's Mohammad Shahzad is known for his aggressive hits at the top. Yesterday, however he chased a wide delivery from Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and skied it in the air, eventually leading to his wicket. It was a move which put an immense amount of pressure on his team and contributed to their downfall.
