Bangladesh women's team wrapped up their warm-up for the ICC World T20 with a thumping eight-wicket defeat against South Africa at BKSP in Savar yesterday.
Sent in to bat first, Bangladesh women's team managed to score 85 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.
Farzana Haque and Shaila Sharmin were the joint top-scorers for Bangladesh with 21 runs each while S Ismail, Van Nickerk, S Luus, MM Letsoalo and M Kepp took one wicket each for the South Africans.
The South African reached the victory target in 15.3 overs losing only two wickets.
Bangladesh had on Thursday conceded a five-run defeat against Pakistan in their previous warm-up match.
