GRAPE VINE
SPLINTER CELL MOVIE TO BEGIN PRODUCTION EARLY NEXT YEAR
The film has been in the works for quite some time now, and stars Tom Hardy in the lead role of badass Navy Seal operative Sam Fisher. The project may also involve Doug Liman, director of Edge of Tomorrow. The film currently lacks a release date, but Basil Ilwanyk, producer for movies like The Expendables, gave a brief production update that points toward a production start date early next year. From Ubisoft and 20th Century Fox, Splinter Cell was written by Sheldon Turner (X-Men: First Class, Up in the Air). If production does start early next year, than we should expect to hear some more updates on the film in the coming months.
PLANET OF THE APES
SERIES COULD SPAN MORE THAN 3 FILMS
Even before Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opened in theaters this summer, 20th Century Fox was already making plans for a third film in the rebooted franchise, but after “Dawn” outgrossed the preceding “Rise” by over $225 million and became the highest-grossing film in the series, the studio might have begun thinking even bigger. When asked about some information on the next movie, he said that the story hasn't been finalized yet as they are still writing the story.
The Untitled Third Planet of the Apes film will be directed once again by Matt Reeves, who is co-writing the script with Mark Bomback. It's set for release on July 29, 2016.

STARZ ORDERS EVIL
DEAD SEQUEL SERIES
Starz ordered a follow-up series to the cult “Evil Dead” film franchise, titled “Ash vs. Evil Dead.” The new show will reteam with director Sam Raimi and star Bruce Campbell, who will reprise his iconic role as Ash, the stock boy, aging playboy and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.

ARROW FLASH EPIC

PENELOPESIGNS ON
FOR 'ZOOLANDER 2'
We're pretty sure there's a lot more to life than anticipating the sequel to a cult comedy, but a second "Zoolander" movie has been percolating for several years now. The past few months have provided a steady stream of confirmations that the film will indeed become reality, with the latest news indicating that Penelope Cruz has signed on opposite Ben Stiller.
There's no word on what Cruz's role will entail, but it's not hard to imagine her as an equally egomaniacal model who spars with Derek Zoolander. Regardless, if Justin Theroux's script and the rumors that Will Ferrell and Owen Wilson will reprise their roles weren't enough to make "Zoolander 2" feel real, this should do the trick.
Theroux was originally tapped to direct the sequel but the second season of HBO's 'The Leftovers" prevents that from happening. Instead, the movie is expected to serve as Stiller's directorial follow-up to "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."
KHANS PATCH UP
Shahrukh and Salman set aside differences
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan had been at odds for almost half a dozen years but the duo decided to call off the squabble when SRK dropped by at the Khan's to bless Arpita Khan and bonded with the whole family including Salman Khan. When asked, SRK said, “When me and Salman meet personally our relationship is same as what it was 25 years back. There is no bad blood. From the outside, we are hot headed guys and can have issues at times but nothing more to that. Arpita is close to me too. We had to be there for her as it was in essence our sister's wedding”.
While this is all great news for fans, was this patch up for real or just for the cameras? Only time will tell.
