OSBOURNES BEING REBOOTED
Nearly a decade after it was cancelled, the four-season long Emmy award winning reality show will be resurrected on VH1. According to Sharon Osbourne the show will be back for about 8 episodes.
VH1 agreed to reboot the hit show after it recently found success in the reality show arena with “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta”, “Basketball Wives” and the more recent “Candidly Nicole “starring Nicole Richie. The show marks the latest revival as VH1 looks to library titles in their continuous struggle to find unscripted formats.
The unscripted reality show will feature rock god Ozzy Osbourne, his wife/manager Sharon and their children Jack and Kelly, all of whom are seriously lodged in the entertainment industry. Sharon being a host and judge for several shows, Kelly being an actress and a singer while Jack being a regular on the reality show circuit.
SHAH RUKH KHAN'S
SON TO DEBUT IN DHOOM 4?
If word on the street is to be believed, then Shah Rukh Khan's seventeen year old son might be taking over the Dhoom baton from Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan & John Abraham. If all goes according to plan, Shah Rukh Khan's son will be joining his dad in the next installment of the explosive Dhoom franchise. While nothing has been made official yet, Aryan Khan is apparently a contender in the cast list for the fourth instalment. However, SRK is said to be extremely particular about his son's education and the movie will purportedly take off once he has completed his studies. Along with this, another set of reports say that Salman Khan has given the nod for playing the antagonist in the power-packed series. If the rumours prove true, fans may soon witness both their favourite Khans together onscreen.
ROCKY SPINOFF CREED TO
START FILMING IN JANUARY
Michael B. Jordan from “The Wire”, “Friday Night Lights” and “Fruitvale Station”, is to be cast as the lead in the “Rocky” spinoff movie “Creed”.
The spinoff will tell the tale of Apollo Creed's grandson (Jordan), who decides to become a professional boxer. The movie took some time to get off the runway, after the project was first proposed in 2013. Now the movie will begin its production in January 2015.
Real life boxers, Tony Bellew (Amateur Boxing Association of England Champion) and Andre Ward (World Boxing Association Champion) are also in the process of being casted in Creed. Bellew may be playing Creed's main opponent 'Pretty Ricky Porter' while Ward's role remains undisclosed.
Sylvester Stallone will also be in the movie as Rocky Balboa who agrees to mentor Creed as an older Rocky Balboa. Stallone initially thought of making Rambo 5 but speculation of it being a flop, lead him to the Rocky spinoff.
GODFATHER HOUSE ON MARKET FOR $2.9 M
The mansion featured in the 1972 classic “The Godfather” is finally up for sale for a meager $2.9 million. Scenes from the mansion include Don Corleone's daughter's wedding and the Don's memorable scene “You ask me to do murder”.
Originally built in 1930 for Joseph Palma, the former Staten Island borough president, the mansion was shown to producers by actor Gianni Russo because he was raised down the street from it.
The massive five bedroom four bathroom house has been entirely renovated with modern furniture, brighter colors and a pool has been put in the backyard. While custom moldings rule supreme throughout the dwelling, the basement has been converted to an English Pub.
ARNOLD NEEDS TERMINATOR 5 TO BE A SUCCESS
Heavyweight action-man of Hollywood, Arnold Schwarzenegger is desperate to make the latest installment in the “Terminator” franchise – “Terminator: Genisys” a success. With “The Last Stand” and “Sabotage” being box office flops (with the exception of “Escape Plan”), the veteran actor needs his sci-fi movie to be a success.
If and only if the latest Terminator is a success, the second and third weapon he has in his arsenal may be able to open up more doors for him – “The Ledged of Conan” and possibly being a villain in James Cameron's “Avatar” sequel. If that isn't enough, Arnold also plans to work alongside Eddie Murphy in “Beverly Hills Cop IV”.
Terminator: Genisys will not only feature Arnold, but also Game of Thrones's Mother of Dragons - Emilia Clarke, Dr. Who's Matt Smith and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes's Jason Clarke.
SALMAN KHAN NOT HOSTING BIGG BOSS!
Yes you read it right! Salman Khan has finally told the makers of the show to start looking out for another celebrity to host its next season. This shouldn't come as a surprise for many since Salman announced last year that he might not host the high voltage reality show due to his busy schedule and alleged differences with the channel. However, after a lot of discussions with the channel, and double the remuneration (Rs 5-6 crore per episode as opposed to Rs 2-3 crore last season), we saw him back this year. But now Salman has had enough of Bigg Boss and doesn't intend to be a part of the show anymore. He has made his decision very clear. In fact, the channel has already started looking out for celebrities to host the next season of the show. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh have already been approached. However, the two haven't given any confirmation yet.
