Govt to strike hard if SSC question leaks
The government will take strong measures to curb question-paper leak’ Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said today in view of the upcoming SSC examinations.
The comment came during a meeting with officials at the Education Ministry ahead of the Secondary School Certificate tests to be held in February.
“If anyone tries to walk this path (question leak), the government will strike back hard,” he said.
The ministry has formed a 25-member inter-ministerial body to oversee the SSC examinations, including security measures, Bangla daily Prothom Alo adds.
Minister Nahid urged all to refrain from spreading propaganda on question paper leak. He said the government will increase its watch on Bangladesh Government Press (BG Press).
The SSC examination is expected to begin from February 2 in the backdrop of widespread criticism of question leak in the prevailing class V terminal examination PSC.
