Fire at Narsingdi textile factory
A fire broke out at a textile factory in Narsingdi town this morning around 12 hours after another blaze initiated at the same factory.
The losses caused by the fresh fire, that was brought under control around 10:45am, could not be ascertained immediately, reports our Narsingdi correspondent.
The second fire initiated around 8:00am at the tin-shed building of Jaba Textile Mill in Brammandi area of the town from an electric short circuit, said Ruhul Amin, station master of Narsingdi Fire Service and Civil Defence office.
Six units of fire fighters brought the blaze under control after over two and a half hours of their hectic effort, the station master added.
Earlier Sunday night, the first incident of fire originated at the same factory supposedly from the same source. Four units of fire service doused the fire after two hours.
